Overview

The Zoom H4n Pro 4-Track Recorder is a versatile tool for music production and location recording, offering low-noise preamps for cleaner recordings with less noise reduction in post production. It can record up to 4 simultaneous channels of audio at resolutions and sample rates higher than CD-quality in WAV and MP3 formats. The 2 microphones are angle-adjustable to capture at 90° or 120°. You can also plug in external mics with XLR or 1/4" connections as well as lavaliers with 3.5mm jacks (the 3.5mm port supplies 2.5V power where needed). Plug. in condenser microphones, line-level sources, or unbalanced instrument-level signals. You can also easily monitor sound through your headphones.

The H4n Pro also includes a variety of effects, including compression, reverb, delay, echo, and more. For musicians, it features an on-board metronome and tuner, along with a dozen amp models and effects for guitars and basses. For students, there is a loop playback options where you can adjust pitch and speed independently of the audio a handy tool for transcriptions. This recorder mounts easily to a mic stand, tripod, or directly onto a DSLR with an optional Hot Shoe adapter (not included).
