The Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8 E Mount is a wide prime that boasts an innovative OLED display that highlights the focus distance and depth of field range for a quick assessment of your focusing parameters. A special anti-reflective coating reduces flare/ghosting while increasing contrast and color accuracy and the wide angle of view and fast maximum aperture makes this lens particularly good for interiors as well as nightscapes. The linear motors provide fast and quiet autofocusing, which is good for video. This lens is compatible with full frame Sony E mount cameras but it is also compatible with APS-C sensor Sony NEX cameras, where it will have an effective focal length of 27mm.
