Overview

The Rode Wireless GO II Mic/Recorder Kit is a super small wireless audio system that consists of a dual channel receiver, 2 transmitters, and 2 clip-on lavalier microphones. To get started, press and hold power on your receiver then hold the power button on each of the transmitters one at a time. They should automatically pair (to disconnect, single-click the pair button followed by a 3-second hold).

In addition to the lavs, the transmitters uniquely are equipped with their own omnidirectional condenser microphones with their own wind shields. The transmitters can capture uncompressed 24-bit/48 kHz audio and are dual-channel so you can use both at once for two-person scenes up to 650' (with line of sight). You have the option of switching between "merged" and "split" modes, so you can record onto separate channels (left/right) or combine them into a single output. This system is designed specifically for stability in high-RF areas such as cities, malls, offices, schools, and stadiums. Additionally, you can connect the transmitters directly to your computer and essentially turn your receiver into a wireless usb audio interface.

These transmitters have an internal memory of up to 24 hours' worth of compressed audio (or 7 hours uncompressed) a piece. The receiver connects to your camera via a 3.5mm cable but an XLR adapter is also included.
