Overview
The Nikon Z TC 1.4x Teleconverter mounts between your Nikon Z camera body and lens in order to give your lens more reach through magnification. It magnifies by 1.4x the focal length on select lenses. For example, 200mm will be the equivalent of 280mm with this teleconverter attached. It features seamless communication among camera body, lens and teleconverter and maintains metering, autofocus, Vibration Reduction, and exif data. Note that this teleconverter reduces your maximum aperture by 1 stop (example: f/2.8 = f/4). It is recommended that you attach the teleconverter to your lens and then attach the pair together to your camera body. Extenders allow photographers to shoot from greater distances without having to resort to using larger and longer lenses. This one is compatible with both full frame and crop frame sensor Z mount cameras and is ideal for wildlife.
