The Nikon 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E Fisheye is a zoom lens that allows you to capture 180° circular images as close as 1' from your subject for dramatic and unique images. The zoom range gives you the option to shoot with the full fisheye effect or with an ultra-wide angle of view, while a mechanism incorporated in the lens barrel provides smooth focusing operation in manual focus mode with a torque similar to high-end manual lenses. Autofocusing is quick, quiet, and precise thanks to the Silent Wave Motor and an electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism provides highly accurate aperture blade control for consistent exposure during continuous shooting, which is great for high-speed capture. The Nikon 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E Fisheye is compatible with both FX (full frame) and DX (crop frame) sensor Nikon cameras and is ideal for cityscapes, street photography, events, and interiors. Please note that you won't get the full fisheye effect when pairing with crop sensor cameras or when using crop mode.
