Overview

Important: 9 SD cards are required for this camera and are not included. You will need all 9 SD slots filled for the camera to operate correctly. Your cards must be V30 rated. Even cards with high write speeds will not perform well with multi-channel file writing unless they are also V30. There are no capacity limit issues, according to the manufacturer, with SD cards with this camera.

Massive Video Captures

Capture up to 10560 x 620 in 2D or 9600 x 9600 in 3D at 30 FPS and 180Mbps (after post processing stitching). 10560 x 10560 stills are also possible. CrystalView technology converts ultra high resolution VR footage into a viewable format for smartphones and other 4K devices. This one-click process is achieved with Insta360 Stitcher, which also allows you to convert any 6K+ video footage (not just Insta360's) into the .vrb format. It does this by slicing the video into segments that are rendered as-needed to the viewer, saving on loading resources. This new format can play back at 11K quality on any mainstream smartphone or VR headset using one of Insta360's free playback apps.

Upgraded Workflow

Stitching and editing is now more convenient, thanks to Insta360's integrated Adobe Premiere Pro workflow. Proxy files can be created in real time in addition to your full-quality footage. Edits to these files can be easily applied to the high-resolution versions prior to final export. This "no-stitch" workflow will automatically stitch footage as-needed during rendering. The old workflow of pre-stitching and post-editing-stitching is no longer required. These proxy files are stored via an SD card (there are 9 total SD card slots, 1 for each camera plus 1 reserved for these proxy files), along with gryoscopic metadata. Proxy file edits that can be applied automatically to full-resolution files saves editors time and effort. Real-time stitching is still available, with original clips kept accessible on the SDs should any stitching errors occur.

FlowState Stabilization

A new 9-axis gyroscope is supported by Inta360's FlowState stabilization system, which works even in 3D. Gimbal-like stabilization can be further perfected with Insta360 software for full creative control over the action. FarSight remote Monitoring

FarSight is Insta360's innovative 360° live monitoring system that offers high-definition, low-latency streaming that is optimized for long-distance viewing.
