The Fuji X-T30 improves on its predecessor, the Fuji X-T20, with a boost in megapixel count, expanded ISO, enhanced video capabilities, and an expansive phase detection AF system for incredibly fast focus response and accurate subject tracking. It is similar to the Fuji X-T3 but offers a smaller, more lightweight body while sacrificing only a few pro-level video features. This means the X-T30 caters to travelers, beginners, or those just looking for a fun, fast camera that can still shoot 4K video clips.

Ultra Fast and Accurate AF Performance

The phase detection points inside the X-T30 cover the entire frame, allowing you to focus easily no matter how you compose your scene. Shoot up to 30 FPS at 16.6MP or 20 FPS at full resolution. The face and eye detection features have been improved over prior models, including a handy "face select" mode so you can prioritize 1 person in a group shot. Compose, select, and focus using either the bright, redesigned viewfinder or the effortless touchscreen tilting LCD. The X-T30 uses an 8-way joystick (vs the prior's 4-way) for greater control over settings and AF points. The grip has also been thickened for better stability and handling comfort.

Retro Design and Beautiful Film Simulations

For beginners, there is an advanced SR Auto mode which will examine the scene for you and choose the best possible settings. For more advanced users or those learning manual shooting the X-T30 maintains the classic tactile dials Fuji is known for. This is paired with Fuji's famous film simulations. These simulations can be combined with various special effects, including Color Chrome and Grain, to produce truly unique, film-esque results.

4K Recording with F-Log

Shoot internal 4K30p video up to 200Mbps with external 4:2:2 10-bit recording over HDMI. The quad-CPU X-Processor 4 enables fast read speeds with reduced rolling shutter effect. You can also shoot in Fuji's flat picture profile for advanced color grading when editing. F-Log received an updated noise reduction algorithm with a minimum sensitivity of ISO 640 to accommodate a broader range of scene types.
