Overview

The Deity S-MIC 2 Microphone has ultra low off-axis coloration, making it easier to capture clean sound even when your source moves slightly in and out of axis of the mic. This is a good feature for booming between sources, allowing even beginners to easily capture rich audio on set. It is constructed of brass with no plastic parts. The circuitry is sprayed and coated with an epoxy that allows the mic to be used safely even in humid or rainy environments. The low noise floor and anti-RF interference build allows this mic to be gain-boosted with less background noise than most other mics in its class. This mic requires 24 or 48V phantom power and is equipped with a 3-pin XLR output connect. A 1.5' XLR cable is included with your rental, as is a shockmount that can be attached via hot shoe or via its 3/8"-16 threaded port.
