Overview
The Canon ST-E3-RT V2 is a wireless transmitter and power control unit designed specifically for Speedlites with radio transmission features, such as the Canon EL-1, the Canon 600EX II-RT, and the Canon 430EX III-RT. This transmitter is placed on the hot shoe of your camera where it will fire an off-camera flash, or group of flashes, and allows you to control flash settings right from the transmitter. This V2 version offers Wireless Rear Curtain Synchronization for beautiful light trails when paired with the EL-1 flash and the following cameras:
Second-curtain sync can be used with EL-1, 600EX-RT series, and the 430EX-RT when paired with the EOS R5, R6, and 1D X Mark III. This version also offers a minimum power range of 1/81922 for very low light shooting and FE Memory, which allows you to lock-in an E-TTL flash exposure level.
