Overview

The Bright Tangerine Revolvr Atom Cine Kit is a compact follow focus unit designed for 15mm LWS and 19mm Studio support rod systems and accommodates smaller lenses with ease. It comes with 2 focus gears: 0.8 pitch, 35-tooth with 10mm thickness and 0.8 pitch, 43-tooth with 6mm thickness. Both accommodate cine-style gearing but the former is ideal for smaller-diameter primes and lenses while the latter is designed for small-diameter lenses that also have wide profiles. The 6mm thickness is suitable for lenses that exhibit focus travel. Both are durable with stainless steel connectors. The swing arm for this unit features a 1:1.842 gear ratio and is compatible with both the Revolvr Lightweight Core Bridge (included) and the Revolvr Atom Core Bridge (not included). The swing arm pivots to adjust for the diameter of your lens and you can mount it on either side of your Core Bridge's drive transmission to match the position of your lens' focus gear. The custom rubber drive belt with a built-in tension adjustment roller is designed to eliminate backlash. The Lightweight Core Bridge accepts a single hand wheel, which is included, and snaps onto 15mm LWS and 19mm Studio support rods easily. The hand wheel sports a raised gripping surface for a secure grip, can be mounted on either side of your unit, holds a removable marking disc (with dry-erase surface), and features an industry-standard accessory socket for optional whips and cranks (whips/cranks not included). Another unique feature of this unit is the variety of tactile controls, clamps, and locks that are easy to operate while wearing gloves, making this a good choice for cold weather shooting.
